In the guardian’s house above the castle walls, a very unusual and fascinating suite has been restored and furnished (2019).
Unusual for several reasons: in the living room the well, dug into the rock and 53 metres deep, once the fortress’s water reserve, is part of comfortable but unusual furnishings, with the breakfast corner and the dressing table for hair and make-up.
In the bedroom: a bed that belonged to one of the countesses, under a canopy in the colours of the Malingri coat of arms, red and white, and windows facing three different views.
In the very modern bathroom, a spacious shower for two. Mirrors upon mirrors play tricks with perspective, but a bride getting dressed and ready will make perfect use of them!
