ARBI
Word that in Piedmontese indicates the chestnut-wood container used to transport grapes.
Arbi is a white wine made from the rare native grape variety of Haute-Savoie called BLANCVERT, vinified as a single varietal. Growing at an altitude of 500 metres, during the ripening period the grapes undergo strong temperature swings between day and night, enriching the polyphenolic profile and giving a rich and sophisticated bouquet.
Amber colour. Intense aroma with notes of vanilla and wild berries. Warm, vigorous taste with great structure, with notes of raspberry, currant and rose hip.
Arbi can be enjoyed as an aperitif or at dinner paired with fish, meat and cheese.

SET
From the Piedmontese for 7: a blend of seven grape varieties, many of them rare and native, growing in a vineyard over seventy years old, perfectly exposed and ventilated at about 400 m altitude. Purple-red in colour, Set is a simple, easy-drinking wine with complex scents of small red berries.
THE VINEYARD
At 500 metres above sea level, on the sunny slopes of the Castello di Bagnolo estate, very special wines are produced, a strong expression of a territory and of centuries of history. Vine growing has been rooted here since the age of the feudal courts, when the castle of Bagnolo played a central role in trade between the Duchy of Savoy, France and the Marquisate of Monferrato (later of Saluzzo). Today the vineyard, run with the technical support of the renowned oenologist Gianfranco Cordero and tended with skill and love in every season, produces traditional wines that are truly original and typical of the territory.
THE CELLAR
The small winemaking room called “tinaggio” is in the rural outbuildings of Palazzo Malingri: it houses temperature-controlled steel tanks and all the equipment needed to work the wines from fermentation to bottling and ageing in barrels.
From the Tinaggio the wine moves to the old semi-underground cellar, about fifty metres long, under the whole main wing of the Palazzo. The size of the vats and barrels still there, and the size of the cellar itself, show how important wine production once was in the economy of the Bagnolo fief. The “carrà”, elongated barrels with handles once used to carry the wine for sale, show that wine was exported from the fief and reached the Savoy capital.
WINEGROWERS AND CELLARMEN
The care of the vineyards and the production of the wine are entirely in the hands of HILARIO OREGLIA D’ISOLA, son of Aimaro and Consolata, an artist in life, with the technical support of the renowned oenologist Gianfranco Cordero and the valuable help and experience of local farmers, above all Marius Vlad Cutuhan, from Romania, who has worked with the estate for over ten years.
