The Agriturismo (farm stay) consists of three ancient farmhouses, rural stone buildings built between 1500 and 1800, in an estate of over 50 hectares of meadows, vineyards, orchards and centuries-old woodland.
Restored in 2004-06 as charming holiday accommodation in the local rustic style, they preserve the characteristics of their original use. Each has its own well and wood-fired oven, a porch or hayloft, and ample green, flower-filled spaces for enjoying the countryside.
Surroundings of great tourist value: the art towns of Saluzzo and Pinerolo, the Po Valley and the beautiful valleys around Cuneo; many sports to practise, and marked trails within the property for training or walking.
Within a few kilometres, the restaurants and local food shops are very interesting from a gastronomic point of view and offer a varied choice of quality and price.
THE FARMHOUSES
THE MILL (MULINO)
The water mill, anciently used for the production of white flour and restored in 2018, bears a family coat of arms dating it to 1791. Surrounded on one side by the stream and on the other by the canal that once powered the wheel, it is like a small green island.
The wheel and the old shed have been transformed into a bright glazed hall with a view of the castle and the mountains.
Next to it, the miller’s house hosts the apartment LA MOLINAIA.
The swimming pool is available only for the apartments Mulino and Molinaia.
Farm BRUCE’
It stands right below the castle walls: to reach it, take 1 km of private road through woods and vineyards. Altitude approximately 500 m. A main building houses the common hall and the accommodation: three apartments, LA VECCHIA, TINAGGIO and CRAVOT, and a double room named GUEST ROOM.
Farm CASTLIN
From a historical and architectural point of view, it is one of the most interesting farmhouses of the Malingri fiefdom. Built around 1500 on a medieval tower that probably formed the castle’s outermost defence, it has a very panoramic position overlooking the plain. In front, in the flowering meadow, stands the historic well with a plaque dedicated to King Emanuele Filiberto (1690) and the bread oven. Behind the farmhouse, in the middle of a lovely meadow, is the 20 m swimming pool, in full sun all day. Apartments VITE, TORRE and COLONNE.
Farm BEDASSOT
In the heart of the estate: to reach it, take 700 m of private road through woods and vineyards. It consists of two buildings with stone-slab (lose) roofs and a porch, and three apartments. Surrounded by meadows and vineyards, it is about 300 m from the swimming pool. Altitude 400 m. View of the plain, the mountains and the Castello. Apartments POZZO, MANGIATOIA and FORNO.

BASIC SERVICES IN THE HOUSE
(Included in the apartment rental):
CLEANING AND LINEN: final cleaning, bath linen changed twice a week, bed linen changed once a week.
Paid services: washing and ironing of personal items, mid-week cleaning of the apartment.
BREAKFAST: the Agriturismo has no restaurant or breakfast room; on arrival, in every apartment you will find a “welcome breakfast” with basic products on the kitchen counter: tea, coffee, sugar, rusks, homemade jams.
THE BOOK: to make your stay easy and pleasant, every apartment has a book full of useful information such as phone numbers, use of the pool and suggestions for shops, restaurants and local specialities nearby.
BOOKING AND INFORMATION SERVICE
SPORTS AND LEISURE: guests can ask for tourist information and sports activities such as horse riding, tennis, golf, cycling, fishing and walking. Mountain bikes, lessons and horse rides can be booked.
YOGA AND MASSAGE: in the evocative setting of the castle with master Devidatta
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE: if needed, a general practitioner and a paediatrician also make home visits; dental surgery in Barge (a few minutes by car)
