Accessibility statement

We want the castellodibagnolo.it website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. The website was rebuilt in 2026 with reference to the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, level AA.

Compliance status

The website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, for the reasons listed below.

What we have taken care of

  • page structure with ordered headings and a link to skip straight to the content;
  • full keyboard navigation, with the focus always visible;
  • text alternatives for the logo, the map and informative images;
  • forms with labels linked to each field and a spam check that does not require recognising images;
  • pages readable on phones and tablets and zoomable without losing content;
  • no content that moves or flashes without a way to stop it: the sliding images on the home page and on the Weddings page respect the device setting that reduces motion, and those on the Weddings page stop on mouse hover or with the keyboard;
  • the video on the Weddings page starts only on request, has visible controls and contains only images and music, without speech: for this reason it has no subtitles;
  • gallery photos open over the page: they can be browsed with the arrows (also from the keyboard) and closed with the Close button, the Esc key or the back button.

Content not yet accessible

  • Photo descriptions: many gallery photos do not yet have a text description. We are adding them progressively.
  • Colour contrast: the selected menu item, the text of some buttons and the links within the text do not always reach the minimum required contrast: we have kept the colours of the previous website.
  • Cookie banner: it is provided by an external service (Hu-manity.co) and its accessibility does not depend on us.

This statement was prepared on 2 November 2026 on the basis of an internal review of the website, carried out with automated tools and manual checks.
