THE RED WINES OF THE "MALINGRI DI BAGNOLO" FEUD

Two red wines are produced - 500 meters above sea level- on the sunny side of the Castello di Bagnolo Feudal estate. They both express the terroir and a tradition centuries long.

Il MALINGRO

This name was used, in ancient times, for the Count of Malingri di Bagnolo. This wine is produced using only dolcetto grapes, and bears a ruby red and intense color. It's taste remindes of red fruits and withered flowers. It's perfect for tipical local meals due to it's robust taste - result of it's traditional cultivation and to our century long experience.

’ARBI

In the Piedmontese dialect 'Arbi stands for the chestnut-wood container with which the grapes are transported from the vineyard. This wine comes from a wise assembly of local and foreign grapes wich make it's taste softer. 'Arbi rests 12 months in third pass barriques and is the most modern example of the Castello di Bagnolo produce. The result is a fine ruby red wine with a violet nouance. It's spicy touch enhances it's taste still letting it's fruity and natural nouances be very present. It's elegance and softness suggest it for the local sausages, prosciutto and for all ragù seasoned pastas.
